⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ve visited Olive Café & Deli nearly every day during my stay in Skerries, and it’s become one of my favourite little places to stop by. I’ve had the hot roll of the day three times, with something different each time, and every one has been absolutely delicious!
The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and I’ve felt really comfortable every time I’ve been in. It has such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and I’ve genuinely enjoyed spending time there during my stay.
A really lovely find in Skerries and somewhere I’ll definitely come back to. Five stars from me! 😊

I really wanted to like it...
We go to Skerries very often on the weekends. The cafe and the outside terrace are always busy.. So being in this town on a Wednesday, we thought we'd finally get to try it!
We sat inside and the menu looked good so we were happy out.
That was until my falafel wrap showed up... 13 euros for a tiny wrap of a mushy 'thing' filled with an overpowering sweet jam. Although on the menu it did say falafel with humus, salad, carrot and chilli jam, I could honestly not tell the difference of what was what in this mash.. No crisps, no side salad to go with it, a very sad little plate..
At this price tag, I was definitely expecting something more consistent/filling and tasty.. Not grande cuisine, just some good filling cafe food.
Hubby had the ploughman ciabatta and same sentiment.. Again that jam.. and it was tiny...
How can you charge so much for this?
I understand prices have gone up but this tag here is definitely NOT justified..
Needless to say, we wont be back..
Hi im sorry you didn't enjoy your food, I checked your other reviews and eating out seems to really annoy you. Maybe a bit of feedback in these business would be more helpful as most family run places will either fix your problem, offer an alternative or a refund. One star reviews are very damaging and upsetting for the hardworking staff who only want people to be happy. The issue with pricing unfortunately is beyond small business's control as the cost of staying open is almost undoable and we charge very reasonably making way less profit than before. If you look around (as I do) this is the price cafés have to charge to pay staff and keep the doors open. I hope for other business' sake you keep that in mind when writing such vitriolic reviews and attacking people's livelihood.
Very old place that need to be renovated. Another gem on Strand Street is Olive Deli. There’s is back and frond yards there you can see eating outside. It’s self service as nobody coming to serve you if take an order. Food wasn’t impressive and tea wasn’t served in a tea pot. Very basic and local deli place. As well as a jam-packed array of specialist ingredients, foodie hampers and covetable condiments, they serve up fresh pastries, breakfast and a very reasonable all-day menu, perfect for brunch and beyond.
